Egg Harbor Café, 777 North York Road, Hinsdale | 4.5 stars

Andrew G. says, “Best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. I love the San Antonio Skillet, although it keeps me from ordering other things that also sound great. The atmosphere and service are great (although it is a tad loud), food comes out fast, and everything is delicious. I would be confident ordering anything on the menu. Egg Harbor is a can’t miss in my eyes.”

Blueberry Hill, 7340 Route 83, Darien | 4 stars

Rick S. says, “Blueberry Hill is a wonderful breakfast joint, especially for Sunday brunch. Large portions, well-cooked food. Pancakes have just the right density and are not at all greasy as sometimes happens in a busy restaurant. The skillet breakfasts are a great choice if you want a lot of food for the money. Definitely worth a visit when in the western burbs.”

Jam ‘n’ Jelly Cafe, 7511 Lemont Road, Darien | 4 stars

Tiffany C. says, “The staff especially the hostesses are extremely friendly. The food is consistently great and they make their own jam and jelly. During nice weather, they have outdoor tables and you can bring your dog to join you! My faves are the Greek skillet, bakin chicken sandwich and always get the cream of chicken soup! But literally anything you get is really good and filling! Big portions!”

If you’re in the area and need some yummy breakfast with good service, I’d recommend it...there is also a nice variety of lunch options available on the menu as well.”
