Local wrestling fans can expect a packed card, including a possible Jim Ross commentary return, and should watch for additional ticket inventory if they still hope to attend.
• Mercedes Mone Not Medically Cleared For All Out, AEW Announces Major Replacement Match (wrestlingattitude.com) — Hoffman Estates will still host AEW All Out at NOW Arena on September 26, but injured champion Mercedes Moné has been ruled out of competing. In her place, fans will see a high-stakes contender's match between Willow Nightingale and Thekla, with the winner earning a future title shot and adding extra intrigue for local attendees.
• 'I never raped anybody in my whole life': Customs and Border agent takes stand in federal trial (dailyherald.com) — A federal jury is hearing testimony in a high-profile rape and civil-rights trial of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent whose story includes a pivotal 2022 lunch at a Hoffman Estates seafood buffet.
