147 AP Scholars Recognized By LTHS Board Of Education
147 LTHS students were recognized for their performance on Advanced Level Placement courses and exams.
LOCKPORT, IL — 147 AP Scholars were recognized by the Lockport Township High School Board of Education at its Monday meeting. The LTHS students were recognized for their performance on Advanced Level Placement courses and exams, according to board documents.
To receive AP Scholar recognition, a student must score a 3 or higher on three or more AP exams, board documents state. To earn Advanced Placement Scholar with Honor, students must receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams. Lastly, students could earn Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction, which is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of the exams.
