LOCKPORT, IL — The Rotary Club of Lockport will hold the 4th annual coffin race on Saturday in the Hamilton Street parking lot.
Teams will compete in coffin-shaped vehicles in a race between ninth and 12th streets, according to the Rotary Club's Facebook.
The event is free to attend and will be held from noon to 4 p.m.

The event will begin with a coffin parade, followed by the race. There will also be family-friendly activities, a DJ and a pet costume contest. Food and beverages are available from local restaurants.
