6 Candidates Filed For Village Trustee Race In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer Glen voters will see six candidates in the Village Trustee race early next year. Voters will vote in the consolidated election on April 4.

While deadlines for other agencies to file petitions for candidacy are on Dec. 19 (in the April 4 election), the last day to file for the race for Homer Glen Trustee was Nov. 28.

The last day to file objections to nomination papers was Dec. 5, according to the Village website.

There are three trustee positions up for re-election. Village Trustee positions are 4-year terms.

The six candidates are: Curtis Mason, Christina "MC" Clausen, Craig J. McNaughton, Ruben L. Pazmino, James "Jay" Roti, and Susanna E. Steilen, according to a public notice from the Village.

Pazmino is currently a Village Trustee, and is the only incumbent running.
