8 Candidates For Lockport Township High School Board Of Education

There are three open positions up for election.

LOCKPORT, IL — There are eight candidates running for three open positions for Lockport Township High School Board of Education in the April 4 consolidated election, according to the unofficial candidate list from the Will County Clerk's Office.

Candidates could withdraw from candidacy, but as of Dec. 28, eight candidates will run for the three open positions.

The three positions are for 4-year terms.

The candidates are:

  • Martin "Marty" Boersma
  • Sandra Chimon Rogers
  • Michael Lewandowski
  • Veronica Tylka-Shaw
  • Michael Clausen
  • Lance Thies
  • Sheri Boniecki-Cooling
  • Nicholas Paris

Tylka-Shaw and Lewandowski are both incumbent board members. Tylka-Shaw was elected in 2019, and Lewandowski has served on the board since 1999.
