HOMER GLEN, IL — A Homer Glen man charged last year after threatening State Rep. Nicole La Ha has pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, the Will County State's Attorney's Office said.
Steven Brady, of Homer Glen, was sentenced to 12 months of court supervision, fines and costs, 30 days jail with credit for time served, and no contact with the victim or her residence, according to the State's Attorney's Office.
In May 2025, Brady was charged with threat to a public official, which is a felony. Illinois State Police said at the time that they were notified of an alleged threat made to La Ha.
La Ha is a former Village Trustee for Homer Glen, and currently serves the 82nd District which represents several communities including Homer Glen, Lemont, Darien, Burr Ridge, Willowbrook and Willow Springs.
