HOMER GLEN, IL — If you're looking to expand your book collection, you can head out to Homer Township Public Library's Used Book Sale on Aug. 7.
The library said it is currently collecting donations of new and gently-used books for the sale. The library cannot accept damaged books, VHS, audiocassette, dictionaries, textbooks or encyclopedias.
Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday.
The Used Book Sale begins at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 7. Adult, teen and kids books will be for sale, according to the library.
The sale will run from 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m. on Aug. 7, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 8, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 10 and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 11.
Aug. 10 and Aug. 11 have a special deal: $5 to fill a bag of books.
