LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School Board of Education has officially launched the search for the District's next superintendent.
The current superintendent, Dr. Rob McBride, will retire on June 30, 2027.
At its July Board meeting, the Board approved an agreement with Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates to search as the superintendent search firm, the District said.
Community focus groups will be held in September for residents to share input. The application deadline for the superintendent position is Nov. 2. The salary is $215,000 base salary.
Board interviews will be done Nov. 14, and the final selection and appointment of the next superintendent is still to be determined, according to the District.
