LOCKPORT, IL — Military History weekend will return to Dellwood Park for its annual reenactments on Sept. 12 and 13.
According to the park district, the annual event features Civil War, WWI, WWII and Vietnam reenactments, live battlefield demonstrations and bridge skirmishes, military encampments and living history displays, live music, Rockford Peaches baseball demonstration, food, beverages, a Veterans Hospitality tent, and a LockRocks concert on Saturday night.
The park opens at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 12 and Sept. 13. The camp closes on Sunday at 5 p.m.
It is $10 for adults, and $5 for veterans, children and seniors.
