The Board received seven applications for the vacant position and followed a selection process outlined in Board policy and recommended by the Illinois Association of School Boards, the District said.
According to the District website, Lencioni has been a resident for more than 13 years. He has served as the President of Homer Soccer Club, and participated in the LTHS Madrigal and Choir Boosters. He has also served on the LTHS Facilities Master Planning Council, and a Board member for the District 205 Foundation.
