"Greater Goods is about the power of second chances and fresh starts," said Lisa Applegate, Greater Goods Store Director. "We're giving quality donated items a second life while creating a place where every donation and every purchase can contribute to something greater."

Greater Goods was created in partnership with Christ Community Church in Lemont.

"Greater Goods grew from a vision at Christ Community Church of finding a new way to connect people to hope through generosity," said Chad De Jager, a founding board
member of Greater Goods and Senior Pastor of Christ Community Church. "We believe generosity is contagious. When people donate, shop or give their time, those simple acts can inspire others and multiply into something much bigger for our community."

Community members can donate quality items, shop at the Thrift Center or volunteer their time, the business shared in a news release.

The Greater Goods Thrift Center Grand Opening will take place on Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
