LOCKPORT, IL — The Open Bottle, a craft beer shop and tap room in Lockport, will close its doors later this month, the business shared on its Facebook page.
The business will close after six years, with its last day on Nov. 28.
"This decision came down to a variety of factors, but we were given the opportunity to transition the space to a new tenant and, after weighing all options against the future of the business, it was a tough but obvious call to make," the business owners shared. "Like a lot of small businesses, the last few years haven't been easy on us, and that made the call clearer."
The business said hours may "shift a bit" before the final day on Nov. 28.
"We hope you'll enjoy one final pour with us before the lights shut off," the business said.
The Open Bottle first opened in 2021 in Lockport. The business also operated a Tinley Park location, which closed in 2025 after 10 years.
