Attention Property Owners on 143rd

It has come to my Attention that the Will County Department of Transportation is still trying to buy property on 143rd St. Letters have been sent telling residents that there will be a public hearing on Quick Take November 7, 2024 at 9am at 302N. Chicago.

They are trying to get people to sell their property! Do not sign anything even a form saying they talked to you.

Our Attorney asked me to get him a copy of any letters or offers to properties on 143rd Street. Bring them to the Homer Twp. Office so we can scan then and email them to the attorney. 14350 W. 151st Street.

I will be addressing this at the Public Works committee next Tuesday.

The lawsuit has been filed and the project should be at a complete stop.
