Bengtson's Farm Begins Hiring For 2026 Fall Fest
This year's fest will run from Sept. 4 to Nov. 8.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Bengtson's Farm is officially hiring for all of its Fall Fest positions, the business shared with Patch. Although it's still July, the start of the Homer Glen farm's 2026 Fall Fest is not that far away.
This year's fest will run from Sept. 4 to Nov. 8 (closed Sept. 8-10).

- Monday–Friday: 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays: 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Columbus Day (Monday, Oct 12): 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The farm told Patch it is looking for "energetic, reliable team members who love creating great experiences for our guests."

Available positions include:
- Food Manager (21+) Oversee staff, maintain the highest standards of quality and safety, ensure compliance with health codes, handle guest feedback, and keep everything running efficiently. Current Food Manager Certificate required. Seasonal position.
- Bakers (18+). Help create fresh donuts and package treats.
- Bartender (21+) Serve up drinks and interact with guests. Experience and Basset preferred.
- Bar Back (18+). Support bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Donut Boxer (Bakery) (16+) Help box and package fresh donuts.
- Cashier (16+)
- Clean Team (16+). Clean dining areas and public spaces.
- Exit Monitor (18+). Check receipts, answer questions, and send guests off.
- Farm Troop (16+). Help keep all farm departments fully stocked with products and supplies.
- Food Runner (16+) Deliver food orders and pour drinks guests with speed and a smile.
- Haunted Barn Attendant (16+) Monitor cameras and ensure safety inside the Haunted Barn.
- Hay Ride Staff (16+) Help load and unload guests for popular hayrides.
- Parking Staff (16+) Guide vehicles, assist guests with parking, and keep lots organized and safe. Weekend and Columbus Day shifts only. Must be able to stand for your entire shift.
- Popcorn Maker (16+) Freshly pop and serve popcorn throughout the day.
- Pumpkin Guard (16+) Help protect and manage the pumpkin patch while assisting guests with their pumpkin-picking experience.
- Pumpkin Launcher (21+) Operate the pumpkin launcher attraction.
- Ride Operators (18+). Higher pay. Background check required. Must be vigilant.
- Ride Assistant (16+) Assist with ride operations by loading/unloading guests.
- Selfie Booth Attendant (16+) Help families and kids capture fall photos at the selfie booth.
- Tractor Drivers (21+). Higher pay. Experience required. Must have a safe driving record and remain vigilant at all times.
