Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm Opens Sept. 15

HOMER GLEN, IL — As fall approaches, that means it's time for the annual return of pumpkin patches and farms. In Homer Glen, the popular Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm will open for the 2023 season on Sept. 15.

The farm offers several attractions, including family-friendly amusement rides, pig races, hayrack rides, petting zoo, pumpkin chucker, and of course, pumpkins. There are also several food vendors on-site.

The farm is cashless, and accepts credit, debit, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay.

The farm, at 13341 W. 151st St., is open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends and Columbus Day. The farm is closed for the season on Nov. 1.

Prices vary per person, depending on what day you go to Bengtson's:

If you're a Homer Glen resident, you will be able to get into the farm for $9.99 on Sept. 23, for Homer Glen appreciation day. The discount does not apply to nonresidents, and you must have valid ID with a Homer Glen address.
