HOMER GLEN, IL — As we settle into September, autumn festivities are beginning, and local pumpkin patches are opening. In Homer Glen, Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm will open its doors for the fall season on Sept. 16.

The farm will open at 11 a.m. Friday, and a "share and save" discount price will be offered for the opening weekend. If guests check in or share a photo at the farm on social media, or like and share the farm's Facebook post, tickets are $17.99.

Otherwise, ticket prices vary, but are typically $19.99 Monday through Thursday, $22.99 on Fridays, $26.99 on Saturday and Sundays (only in September). On weekends in October, and on Columbus Day, tickets are $33.99.

The farm is cashless, and accepts credit, debit, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay, according to the business website.

The farm features dozens of attractions, including the Rooster Rodeo, Barnstormer Wave Swinger, Rockin' Rabbits, Barrel Blast, Fun Barn, Tractor Town, Happy Swing, Frog Hopper, pig races and more.

Food and beverage are also sold at the farm, including food from Anna's Tacos, Uncle Bub's BBQ, Rustic Knead, Mr. K's Chuckwagon and Muffins ice cream.
