Bengtson's Pumpkin Fest Opening Friday
The fest in Homer Glen, which has operated for decades, will open for the season Friday.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Bengtson's Pumpkin Fest will open its pumpkin festival on Friday. The farm has operated for over 40 years, and is a popular fall activity for area families.
"We are constantly monitoring and communicating with state and local government agencies to ensure we can and will follow any and all provided guidelines," the business said on its website. "We are an outdoor event with many acres for guests to enjoy traditional fall activities safely."
The business said staff will be wearing masks when physical distancing is not possible, hand sanitizing stations have been added, and social distancing reminders have been posted throughout the farm.

The fest offers various rides and attractions, including hay rack rides and plenty of pumpkins for sale.
The pumpkin fest will close for the season on Nov. 2. Admission rates vary depending on what day you choose to go to the fest.
