The garden includes 16 4x8-foot raised beds; registration is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
LOCKPORT, IL — The inaugural season of the Lockport community Garden will begin this year, in a partnership between Bloom Lockport and the Lockport Township Park District.
"This collaborative project provides a convenient and affordable opportunity for residents who would like to grow their own produce, but may not have the space or ability to garden at home," the organizations said.
The garden includes 16 4x8-foot raised beds. The beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register to reserve a plot with the park district.
