Bullets Shot At Houses, Car: Homer Glen, Lockport Police Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Lockport
- Two homes and a car were damaged after someone shot bullets into them in the 200 block of Fairmont Avenue on Aug. 6. The car was parked in the driveway and was struck on the driver's side rear door. Two bullet holes were also observed in the east wall of that home. A resident of the second home told police that it was raining out during the evening hours and did not hear anything; however, she found pieces of drywall on the floor in her living room and two holes in the walls. No one was injured in either home or the vehicle.
- Someone stole a 2004 Chevy Tahoe and an attached cargo trailer on Aug. 8 in the 300 block of Bradford Court. Several pieces of lawn equipment tools were inside the trailer.
- Donald Hudgens, 47, of Rockdale, was arrested Aug. 10 in the 700 block of North State Street and charged with possession of stolen motor vehicle.
Homer Glen
- Someone threw two eggs at two cars in a driveway in the 14000 block of South Teakwood Drive on Aug. 6. Eggs were also thrown at the front siding and porch area of the home. The eggs caused damage and scratches to the vehicles and the siding.
- Alfredo Arellano, 22, of Chicago, was arrested Aug. 9 at West 159th Street and South Cedar Road and charged with driving while license suspended. Worth Police then took custody of Arellano relating to a pending investigation that led to the traffic stop.
- A man was walking with a friend at Morris Park, 15365 W. 163rd St., on Aug. 11, when he saw a car park next to his vehicle. The car then took off. When the man approached his car, he saw the rear back window had been smashed out. His friend's purse had been stolen, as well as an iPhone.
- Christopher Mroz, 34, of the 14500 block of South Coachman Lane, was arrested Aug. 12 at his residence and charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer.
