Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with a Journey Through Time!In honor of the nation’s Semiquincentennial, we are pivoting for 2026 to bring you a special one-day event: Crossroads of America! Join us at Commissioners Park in Justice, IL, for an immersive, family-friendly walk through history. Experience centuries of American storytellers, innovators, and leaders brought to life by world-class historical re-enactors!
• Meet Historical Figures: Step face-to-face with legendary icons including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, Henry Ford, Frank Lloyd Wright, Rosie the Riveter, and more!
• Interactive Kid's Activities: Keep the young historians engaged with our popular Trading Post, colonial crafts (tricorn hats, flags, bead necklaces), and old-fashioned games & chores.
• Live Music & Entertainment: Enjoy live performances, including traditional fife and drum music from Theatiki Fife & Drum and acoustic tunes from Trillium!
• Local History & Exhibits: Explore displays from local historical societies, check out vintage municipal vehicles, and learn about our region’s rich heritage.
• Delicious Food & Treats: Feast on food truck favorites—tacos, burgers, pulled pork, kettle corn, ice cream, and concessions!
