Car Stolen, Criminal Trespassing: Homer Glen, Lockport Blotter

Will County Sheriff's Office reports for Homer Glen and Lockport through Oct. 15.

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Homer Glen

  • Four chainsaws, two weed whackers, a zip level, wrench set and a portable band saw were stolen from a business in the 12600 block of West 159th Street on Oct. 9. Two backpack blowers and a concrete saw were also stolen from an outside trailer.
  • A 2015 Dodge Charger was stolen from a driveway in the 14000 block of South Heatherwood on Oct. 11. The keys were inside a backpack which was inside the unlocked vehicle.
  • Jad Eid, of the 15300 block of South Weather Vane Lane, was arrested in the 15300 block of South Weather Vane for criminal damage to property on Oct. 11. He was held on an active DuPage County warrant.

Lockport

  • Patrick Taylor, 36, of the 200 block of Riverview Avenue, was arrested in the 400 block of Dellwood for criminal damage to property on Oct. 10.
  • Salvador Vega-Tapia, 54, of the 100 block of East 13th Street, was arrested in the 16000 block of West Tameling Drive for criminal trespassing on Oct. 10.
