Chalk Art Contest Planned In Homer Glen
Each participant will be give one 24-color pack of chalk and assigned a chalk-block work space.

HOMER GLEN, IL — The village of Homer Glen will hold Chalk-It-Up, a sidewalk chalk art contest and park celebration at Stonebridge Park, 16000 S. Stonebridge Drive.
The event is free and will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 14. According to the village, each participant will be give one 24-color pack of chalk and assigned a chalk-block work space.
There will be drawings on the sidewalks surrounding the park. Families, professional artists, amateur artists, students and anyone else can participate.

Prizes will be awarded to the Best Use of Color, Most Interesting Characters and Most Creative Theme. Prizes will be awarded in each age group: 6 and under, 7 to 13, 14 to 18, and 18 and over.
