Chalk-It-Up Planned In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer Glen will hold its third annual chalk fest on July 25 on the sidewalks surrounding Heritage Park. The free contest will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and all ages are welcome.

According to the Facebook event page, there will be two available chalking sessions to limit the amount of participants at one time. Each participant will receive one box of Crayola sidewalk chalk.

Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place overall winners, which will be chosen by a panel of judges from the village.
