Old Canal Days Survey
Old Canal Days returned to the City of Lockport from June 10-13, 2021 after a year off in 2020 due to the pandemic. Hosted by the Lockport Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Lockport, this long-standing tradition is a reflection of the City’s history and celebration of the I&M Canal’s contributions to the City and Midwest region. The event provides family activities and entertainment including a carnival, artisan market, live music, historical tours, and more.

The Lockport Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking resident and attendee feedback regarding this year’s event. The survey is available on the Lockport Chamber of Commerce website at lockportchamber.com through August 27. The estimated time to complete the survey is approximately three (3) minutes. Results gathered through community input will assist in event planning for future years.
In 2021, Old Canal Days was held on a new weekend and hosted at a new location. Historically held on Father’s Day weekend, the third Sunday in June, this year’s event was held a weekend earlier, the second weekend in June. The annual festival was also relocated from the City’s Heritage District on State Street at 8th Street further north to the former Chevron property, located at 301 W. 2nd Street.
