Just wanted to see if you are still posting about area students accomplishments in college. We are so proud of our son Nate Bielanski for making the Dean’s list at Purdue university in West Lafayette. He finished his first semester with a 4.0 in his first year engineering program. He’s a 2021 graduate of Lemont high school.

Local Students Make Bradley University's 2021 Fall Dean's List

More than 1,900 students were named to Bradley's Fall 2021 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

UW-Whitewater announces Dean's List
The following students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2021 fall semester:
Bryce Backal, of Homer Glen, who is studying General Business; Ava Cully, of Lockport, who is studying Business Analytics; Hailey Hartford, of Homer Glen, who is studying Elementary Education; Mallory Hollatz, of Lockport, who is studying Political Science; Abbey Janeczek, of Homer Glen, who is studying Environmental Science; Kristina Kelpsa, of Lockport, who is studying elementary education; Brendan Spratt, of Homer Glen, who is studying General Business; Zak Wells, of Lockport, who is studying Accounting; and Prue Thomas from Bolingbrook, who is studying Media Arts and Game Development.
These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
"I want to extend my congratulations to every student who set high academic standards for the fall semester and achieved a high grade point meriting recognition through the college Dean's List," said John Chenoweth, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. "We are very proud of you! I encourage you to keep up the good work during the spring semester."
The Registrar's Office reports 3,558 students were selected for the Dean's List for the fall semester. About 11,500 students are currently enrolled at the university's Whitewater and Rock County campuses.
Lucas Schedel named to Wartburg College Fall Term Dean's List
Lucas Schedel of Bolingbrook was named to the Wartburg College Fall Term Dean's List.
The college recognized 509 students for Fall Term.
The list honors students who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above in at least four course credits during the term. Three of the four course credits have to be graded with a traditional letter grade.
Fall 2021 Dean's List at Olivet Nazarene University
To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.
Area students recognized include: Jack Busch of Bolingbrook, Brianna Guzman of Bolingbrook, Hannah Lemmert of Bolingbrook, Kyle Taylor of Bolingbrook, Ronald Artavia of Romeoville, Amanda Listermann of Romeoville, Isaac Lucas of Romeoville, Claire O'Neill of Homer Glen, Haylie Rynberk of Homer Glen, Hannah Sowatzke of Homer Glen, Ian Varquez of Romeoville, Sara Bell of Lockport, Erik Firganek of Lockport and Rachel Lautermilch of Lockport.
UW-Whitewater awards more than $2.4 million in scholarships for 2021-2022
The following local students are among the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater scholarship recipients receiving financial awards for the 2021-22 academic year.
Shannon Brannick of Lockport, who is studying Accounting, won the Chancellor Scholars.
Hailey Hartford, of Homer Glen, who is studying Elementary Education, won the Karl & Doris Zahn Education Scholarship.
Abbey Janeczek, of Homer Glen, who is studying Environmental Science, won the Chancellor Scholars.
Zak Wells, of Lockport, who is studying Accounting, won the College of Business and Economics Admissions Scholarship.
Joe Kelly, of Lemont, who is studying Accounting, won the Warhawk Accounting Advancement Scholarship.
Matthew Lopez, of Bolingbrook, who is studying Political Science, won the Spirit of Whitewater Energy Award; William J & Helen B Malleris Scholarship; William J Malleris Endowment.
"On behalf of the UW-Whitewater Foundation, we send our deepest congratulations to this year's scholarship winners, who represent the very best in academic, co-curricular and service excellence across all of our colleges and departments," said Sandy Dunst, interim president of the UW-Whitewater Foundation. "Over the years, many people and organizations have donated funds to make these financial awards a reality. Emma Lynch of Lemont Participating in UA's Cooperative Education Program
University of Alabama student Emma Lynch of Lemont is participating in UA's Cooperative Education Program during the spring 2022 semester. Lynch is working for Eastman Chemical.
In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student.
SNHU Announces Fall 2021 Dean's List
Peyton Artus of Homer Glen has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's Fall 2021 Dean's List.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to the Dean's List.
SNHU Announces Fall 2021 President's List
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) named the following students to the Fall 2021 President's List.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Recognized area students include:

Andrius Lelis named to Kennesaw State's Fall 2021 President's List
Andrius Lelis of Lemont was named to the Kennesaw State University Fall 2021 President's List.
A Cybersecurity major, Lelis was among more than 5,100 undergraduate students named to the Fall 2021 President's List.
To qualify, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average and complete a minimum of nine credit hours.
