Cop On A Rooftop Planned In Lockport Aug. 19

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Police will participate in the Special Olympics Cop on a Rooftop event on Aug. 19. The annual event is a partnership between the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics Illinois, according to the department.

Officers across the state collect money to benefit Special Olympics Illinois at participating Dunkin' locations.

In Lockport, officers will be at the Dunkin' locations at 1069 E. Ninth St. and 730 S. State St., from 5 a.m. to noon on Aug. 19.
