Decorate A Snowman To Be Displayed At Heritage Park

HOMER GLEN, IL — If you're looking for a fun holiday activity, your family, business or organization can decorate its own snowman for display at Heritage Park in Homer Glen. It is $20 to register and you will be given a pre-made 6-foot wooden snowman to decorate.

According to the village website, there are 25 snowmen available for decoration. Your snowman must be dropped off by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1, and it will be installed before Dec. 5.

Three prizes will be awarded: the Homer Glen Junior Woman's Club award will be decided by judges from the club and two People's Choice awards will be determined by an online vote. Winners will be contacted on Jan. 4, 2021, to receive their prize. The snowmen will be removed on Jan. 5, 2021.
