District 33C Recognizes Student Musicians
The honor band students were recognized for their selection and participation in a state music festival.

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Homer District 33C board of education recognized 14 Homer band students at its meeting Dec. 17. The honor band students were recognized for their selection and participation in the Illinois Music Educators Association Elementary and Junior High division District 1 Honors Music Festival in November.
According to board documents, the musicians were: Anna DiFilippo, flute; Katelyn Munis, clarinet; Nicholas Krol, clarinet; Victoria Locacious, clarinet; Jacob Rodeghero, clarinet; Georgia Dykstra, bass clarinet; Calvin Kozor, alto saxophone; Steven Clausen, trumpet; Matina Papafotopoulos, trumpet; Will Wagner, trombone; Chris Ripley, trombone; Alex Borello, trombone; Logan Nusko, trombone; and Ashley Kolz, tuba.
Board president Deb Martin presented award certificates to each student.
