Early Voting Begins Oct. 24 At Lockport Township, Homer Township

HOMER GLEN-LOCKPORT, IL — With the General Election just over a month away on Nov. 8, the Lockport Township building and the Homer Township building will soon open for early voting.

According to the Will County Clerk website, early voting will begin Oct. 24 at Lockport Township, 1463 S. Farrell Road, Suite 102, and at Homer Township, 14350 W. 151st St. Both sites serve all Will County residents.

Early voting hours for Lockport Township are:

• 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 24-Oct. 26
• 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 27
• 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 28
• 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29
• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 31
• 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2
• 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 3
• 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 4
• 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 5

Early voting hours for Homer Township are:

• 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24-Oct. 28
• 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31-Nov. 4

There is no vote by mail drop box at Lockport Township or Homer Township, but there is a drop box at White Oak Library-Lockport Branch, 121 E. Eighth St., according to the clerk's office.

The drop box is open during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The drop box will close Nov. 7.
