Electronics, Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Event Planned In Homer Glen
You must make an appointment for the May 6 drive-thru event.
HOMER GLEN, IL — The Village of Homer Glen and the Will County Land Use Department will hold an electronics and hazardous waste drop-off event in Homer Glen on May 6.
The event is by appointment only, and will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 6 outside the Homer Glen Village Hall.
Accepted items include: paint (oil-based only), stains and thinners, automotive fluids, driveway sealant, lawn chemicals, solvents, aerosol products, pool chemicals, mercury-containing products, batteries, old gasoline and cleaning products.

Items not accepted are: fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, latex paint, ammunition, business waste, medical waste and household garbage.
