Expansion Planned For Homer Township Library

The project will add a youth services family program room and a community reading room to the library.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Expansion plans are underway at Homer Township Public Library. The library, 14320 W. 151st St., will add a north youth services family program room and a community reading room at the west entrance, Executive Director Sheree Kozel-La Ha told Patch.

The family program room will be 2,865 square feet, while the community reading room will be 1,668 square feet.

This project is being self-funded by the library through conservative budget management, strong grant writing, and reserves so will not result in any increase to taxpayers," Kozel-La Ha said. "The library celebrates our 40th year of excellence this year, and we are very proud to anchor additional space for the community."
