Fall Stargazing Planned In Homer Glen
Guests will be able to see Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, the first quarter moon, the Andromeda galaxy, the Hercules Globular Star cluster and more.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Enjoy the skies in Homer Glen and join the village at its fall stargazing event on Friday, Sept. 6. The event will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St.
There will also be a bug and reptile show in the village hall community room from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Homer Glen is recognized as a Day Sky Community, and has held several stargazing events over the past few years. Telescopes from the Kankakee Area StarGazers, the Naperville Astronomical Association and the South West Astronomy Observers group will be available for free viewing.
