Family Fall Fest Planned At Dellwood Park

LOCKPORT, IL — Family Fall Fest is set for Oct. 12 at Dellwood Park, featuring hayrides, a petting zoo, face painting and more.

The fest will be held on Columbus Day, so "spend the day off school making fall memories at Dellwood Park," the park district shared.

Registration is required for the event, and it is $15 per person.

The fest will feature face painting, inflatables, games and activities, hayrides and more from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 12. Guests can also stroll through Scarecrow Lane, and vote for your favorite scarecrow, the park district shared.

"While you’re here, explore fall at Dellwood Park! Take a walk along the trails, enjoy the crisp autumn air, and experience the beautiful fall colors throughout the park. It’s one of our favorite times of year to get outside and discover Dellwood," the park district said on its Facebook page.
