Fire Districts expand their education partnership to offer CPR Classes AT NO CHARGE
2017 FREE CPR CLASSES

Have you been considering learning CPR!!! The Homer Township and Northwest Homer Township Fire Protection Districts have partnered to provide “FREE” CPR training to anyone that wants to learn this potentially lifesaving skill. Research has shown that the best chance of survival for sudden cardiac arrest is to start CPR as soon as possible. The more people that are properly trained in CPR increases the chance that someone will be able to step in and perform this crucial skill in the unfortunate incident that someone has a heart attack.
The Fire Districts believe that this is such an essential skill, we are offering the class four times this year at no cost to the participant. If you would like to be trained in CPR, please go to www.homerfire.org to register; the Homer Twp. website will be the single point of registration for all four classes. Class size is limited to 20 students. Classes will be held on the following Saturdays from 9a.m.-1p.m..; April 15th and September 9th at Homer Twp. Fire Station 2 (16131 S. Bell Rd), and June 17th and December 2nd at Northwest Homer Fire Station 1 (16152 W. 143rd St). If you have any questions, feel free to call 815-838-5006.
