HOMER GLEN, IL — The Creamery in Homer Glen is facing foreclosure, according to documents filed in the Will County Circuit Court. Foreclosure papers were filed in court on June 20 by Byline Bank against SK Creameries Homer Glen, LLC. The notice of foreclosure was recorded July 1 by the Will County Recorder of Deeds.
According to the Will County Recorder of Deeds, there are also several liens recorded against the Homer Glen Creamery, as well as one lien against the Manhattan Creamery.
The Internal Revenue Service has filed two liens against the Homer Glen Creamery, according to the Recorder of Deeds. The first was filed in October 2018 and the consideration is for $22,495.17. The second lien was filed by the IRS in March and the consideration is for $8,641.29.

A mechanics lien was filed by Procision Heating Cooling and Refrigeration, Inc., against SK Creameries Manhattan, LLC, on April 1. The lien consideration is $1,361. The Mechanics Lien Act in Illinois allows mechanics or contractors to file a lien when their services are not paid for.
