Grand Opening Planned For Dellwood Park Community Center
The Lockport Township Park District will hold a grand opening celebration for the Dellwood Park Community Center on May 19.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township Park District will hold a grand opening celebration for the Dellwood Park Community Center on May 19. The center is located at 1811 S. Lawrence Ave., in Lockport.
According to the park district, the grand opening will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. and several activities will be offered. The ribbon cutting will take place at 12 p.m., as well as a preview of some recreation programs.
There will also be an open gym from 12 to 4 p.m., and a raffle prize drawing every 30 minutes. Games, inflatables, a DJ, fire truck and face painting will also be at the event. The park district said there will also be kids activities in the preschool room and free refreshments in the multi-purpose room.
