Hadley students stage concert to benefit kids with cancer

Show your support and bring a toy to the Feb. 16 concert

Hadley Middle School teacher and musician Joe Cernak loves to challenge his students to work creatively on projects that interest them.

So when two students came up with the idea of staging a concert with his band, Hi-Fi Stereotypes, to benefit kids with cancer at Comer Children’s Hospital, he couldn’t say no.

On Feb. 16, Cernak and fellow bandmate, Kenton Brace (a music teacher at Hadley Middle School and Homer Junior High School), will perform covers of pop hits from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Hadley Middle School gymnasium at 15731 S. Bell Road Homer Glen.
