
Over the past 2 weeks, local politician Steve Balich has been hittting the campaign trail hard for Donald Trump and Steve's own localized Trump loyalist candidates. Recently, this retired man with unlimited time decided to start walking around at Jewel, a private business, for the explicit purpose of stirring up anger.
He approached several patrons, asking them what political party they belong to, catching several of us off guard. I told him it was intrusive and walked away.
I saw him approach women who seemed uninterested or nervous about his questions. At This time of political upheaval, its not appropriate to put people on the spot.

Mr. Balich did find some to listen however. He walked around the store with them, getting the person angered up about the price of the groceries, then said Democrats are to blame.
He then promptly whipped out his petitions for Republican candidates in the area, promising that they could fix inflation.

This kind of manipulative, unethical way of getting petition signatures must stop.
I've informed Jewel of his intentions. They did not appreciate knowing that Mr. Balich used their store to showcase negativity towards prices of their groceries.
