Holiday Light Recycling In Lockport, Will County

Year-round string light recycling is also available at Lockport Public Works from 6 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the City said.

LOCKPORT, IL — If you have holiday string lights that no longer work, recycling is available at three Will County locations until Jan. 31. Only string lights are accepted, not LEDs, CFLs or fluorescent lights, according to the City of Lockport.

Year-round string light recycling is also available at Lockport Public Works from 6 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the City said.

  • Will County office building, 302 Chicago St., in Joliet. Available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Will County Land Use Department, 58 Clinton St., Joliet. Available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Sunny Hill Nursing Home, 401 Doris Ave., in Joliet. Available 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
  • Will County Sunny Hill Nursing Home, 401 Doris Avenue, Joliet, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Daily.
