Homer Glen Board Meeting Adjourned Due To Lack Of Quorum
The Village Board was able to hold a public hearing on its budget, but then adjourned due to lack of a quorum.

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Village of Homer Glen's Village Board meeting was adjourned after less than five minutes on Wednesday due to a lack of a quorum.
Mayor George Yukich and trustees Nicole La Ha and Ruben Pazmino were present, but trustees Beth Rodgers, Rose Reynders, Dan Fialko and Jennifer Consolino were absent.
Village Attorney Eric Hanson said the Board could hold its planned public hearing on the Village budget, but couldn't have the rest of the meeting due to a lack of a quorum.

"All of the trustees that are not here today thought they were going to be able to call in, and since the emergency order has been retracted from the governor's office, they're no longer able to call in," Pazmino said before the meeting adjourned.
In March 2020, Governor J.B. Pritzker issued an executive order that suspended the requirements of in-person attendance, and allowed remote participation for members of a public body.

The Will County Clerk's Office will certify election results on April 25. On the Homer Glen Village Board, three new trustees, Susanna Steilen, Craig McNaughton and Curtis Mason, and new mayor Christina Neitzke-Troike, will be sworn in.
