Homer Glen, Lockport Winter Weather: Several Districts Closed

HOMER GLEN-LOCKPORT, IL — The Chicago suburbs are forecast to receive between 6-10 inches of snow from Thursday night into Friday. Homer Glen and Lockport fall under the winter storm warning that begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, and several area organizations have already reported closures or late openings.

• Lockport Township High School District 205, Closed Friday
• Lockport Area Special Education Cooperative, Closed Friday
• District 90 (Taft School District), Closed Friday
• District 91 (Milne-Kelvin Grove District), Closed Friday
• District 92, Closed Friday
• St. Joseph School, Closed Friday
• St. Dennis School, Closed Friday
• Bobbie Noonan's Child Care, No Half Day Preschool Classes on Friday

Waste Management will also not be running their Friday residential routes. The city said the service plans on resuming the Friday collection routes on Saturday, Feb. 10.
