Homer Glen Looking For Biggest Trees In Town
Residents can search for the biggest trees (circumference) and submit entries to the Village.
HOMER GLEN, IL — The Village of Homer Glen is once again searching for the biggest trees in town for its Big Tree Contest.
The Village encourages residents to search for the biggest trees in Homer Glen, and submit nominations for different species of trees to the Village.
Verification of measurement will be made by the Village's environment committee, according to the Village website. The largest tree of each species will then receive recognition.
