Homer Glen Plans First Bean Bag Tournament

HOMER GLEN, IL — The village of Homer Glen will hold its first annual bean bag tournament in September. The Harvest Bags tournament will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 12 at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St.
The tournament is for those 21 and over and is double elimination. According to the village event page, it is $40 per team and the tournament is limited to 24 teams of two people.
The registration fee includes a meal provided by Smokin' Z BBQ. Spectators are also welcome and can purchase food from the food truck.

The deadline to register is Sept. 7. First place will receive $200 and second place will be awarded $100.
