Homer Glen Plans Ribbon Cuttings For Two New Businesses

HOMER GLEN, IL — The village of Homer Glen will welcome two new businesses by holding ribbon cuttings next month. The village will hold a ribbon cutting for Big Joe's Backyard BBQ at 4 p.m., Sept. 12; and at 4:30 p.m. at Randori Jiu Jitsu.

According to its website, Big Joe's Backyard BBQ started with catering neighborhood parties and competing at BBQ competitions. Now, the business has a location open at 12326 143rd St.

The second business, Randori Jiu Jitsu, is located at 12509 W. 159th St. According to the business' website, it provides teaching and training in Jiu Jitsu. They offer adult Jiu Jitsu, adult Judo, kids Jiu Jitsu, kids Judo, kids MMA and self-defense for adults and kids.
