Homer Glen Preserves Closed For Seal Coating

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Will County has started its summer seal coating program, and preserves in Homer Glen will be affected next week.

The preserve said the Hadley Valley Preserve - Route 6 access will be closed July 11, the Hadley Valley Preserve - Bruce Road access will be closed July 12, and the Hadley Valley Preserve - Gougar Road access will be closed July 13.

Each site will be closed for the day, and the following morning, the preserve said. The sites will reopen once the contractor hired by the Forest Preserve determines the seal coating has cured.

The schedule could change due to weather conditions and other factors.
