Homer Glen Resident Receives Award For Making The Difference
Candace Rose was given the award for volunteering and serving the Village's Plan Commission as Recording Secretary for over 16 years.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer Glen resident Candace Rose recently was presented with a Making the Difference award from the village of Homer Glen. According to the village, the award was presented to Rose at the board meeting on Oct. 10. She was given the award for volunteering and serving the Village's Plan Commission as Recording Secretary for over 16 years.
According to the village, Rose has been a resident of Homer Glen since before incorporation in 2001. She has spent numerous hours attending the Village's Plan Commission meetings twice a month, recording and documenting each of the commission's meetings.
The village said her dedication, loyalty and professionalism have made an incredible impact on the Plan Commission.

"Thank you Candace Rose for your diligence, volunteer spirit, and service," the village shared on its Facebook Page. "Best wishes to you, happiness in your retirement, and good luck in your future endeavors. You have truly Made A Difference and will be sincerely missed."
