Homer Glen Sushi Restaurant Holds Ribbon Cutting

HOMER GLEN, IL — A new sushi restaurant has opened in Homer Glen. Wow Sushi, located at 14407 Bell Road, will hold a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Dec. 13, although the restaurant opened officially on Dec. 1. The new sushi restaurant is located in the plaza with Blueberry Hill, between AQ Nails and Pizza Mia.

Manager Ying Gao said the restaurant serves fresh Japanese sushi, maki, sashimi, Japanese appetizers, soup, noodles and teriyaki. Lunch and dinner special combos are also available.

"We are the first Japanese restaurant in Homer Glen," Gao added. "We are all very young and creative, so we will always come out with something new."

Gao also works in the airline industry, and visits Japan four or five times a year.

"I will always trying to bring something authentic dishes back and as well as the new things from Japan," Gao said. "My partner had been sushi chef for years since he was 18, so he also has experience in Japanese dishes."
