Homer Glen UPS Driver Achieves 27 Years With No Accidents
The driver has worked for UPS for 39 years, and drives about 40 miles every day.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer Glen UPS driver Brian Haslinger has been honored by the company for achieving 27 years of accident-free driving. Haslinger was added into the company's prestigious "Circle of Honor," according to the company.
Haslinger is among 66 drivers from Illinois who have been inducted into the Circle of Honor, which honors drivers who have gone 25 years with no accidents. The Homer Glen has worked for UPS for 39 years, but has been a driver for 29 years, and drives about 40 miles every day.
“My thanks go to all of [the drivers] for their dedication and focus and for the countless lives they’ve saved,” George Willis, president, UPS West Region, said in a release. “Their attention to detail has kept them safe and has helped improve public safety.”

Haslinger said the key to driving safe is staying focused.
"As soon as you let your guard down, that's when something could happen," he said. "You just have to be cautious out there."

Over his 29 years with UPS, Haslinger has logged 275,000 miles of driving. Haslinger's supervisor Chris Brady said Haslinger is a great employee.
"He comes in every day, and wants to do his job and do it well," Brady said. "He's a good role model for the younger driver."
Haslinger grew up in Oak Forest, but moved to Homer Glen with his wife, who also works for UPS, and their two children.
