Homer For The Holidays Planned Dec. 4

HOMER GLEN, IL — The holiday season will officially kick off in Homer Glen at the Village's Homer for the Holidays event on Dec. 4.

The event will include a Christkindlmarket and the annual tree lighting. The holiday fun will kick off at noon on Dec. 4 at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St.

The event will feature holiday crafts and cocoa, and a meet and greet with Santa from noon to 2 p.m.; the Christkindlmarket from 2 to 8 p.m., and costume characters from 5 to 8 p.m., according to the Village website.

The park will be lit with the annual holiday light display. There will also be a Letters to Santa box in the park.

The holiday lights will be lit each night in the park through Jan. 2.
